Have they died in vain?
I hate to say this, but its my belief that many Liberals/Democrats feel that every American/Coalition Soldier, Sailor, Marine, Airman in Iraq has died in vain.
I'm not saying that all of them believe this, but many do.
Lately, the calls for the removal of troops in Iraq have gone the path that its because the troops have failed.
Iraq is now a haven for terrorists and Cindy Sheehan's Freedom Fighters.
Our troops have tortured and destroyed the lives of Iraqis, whether they have lifted a gun against our troops or not.
Abu Girab continues to be harped upon as a massive failure and proof of US led torture, although those who did the stupidity have since been tried and convicted in a court of law.
Whenever our troops clear out a city, they leave to move to the next one...and in come the terrorists again.
All this and more have been used to show that our troops have failed in their mission. To hold off more embarrassments, its time to remove the troops from Iraq.
To remove them before the mission is complete is to say that every one of the 2060+ American men and women that have died is that they died in vain, for no purpose other than to shorten their lives.
To die in vain, or worse, to force someone to die in vain, is the worst thing you can do to someone fighting a war.
